2026 BIT Scholarships

A. Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC)

1. Type A

(1) Undergraduate Program (only for Chinese-taught program)

The scholarship application is directed to the local Chinese Embassy or Consulate. The application time is usually from November to April next year. Please ask for more application information from Chinese Embassy/Consulate in your home country.

When filling in the scholarship application form, the applicant should choose Type A and select Beijing Institute of Technology as the first priority institution.

 

(2) Graduate Program (Bilateral Program)

The program accords with the cooperation and exchange agreements or consensus reached by the Chinese government and the governments and institutions of other nations. An applicant shall file an application with the dispatching department of their home countries.

 

2. Type B (University Program)

   Including High Level Graduate Program, Silk Road Program, etc.

(1) Full Scholarship Coverage

Tuition fees; Free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy; Stipend: Master’s students: CNY 3,000/month, Ph.D. students: CNY 3,500/month; Comprehensive medical insurance: CNY 800/person/year

(2) Application Procedure

l Register at http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn and upload required documents. (BIT’s Agency No. is 10007; Type: B).

l Register at http://apply.isc.cnyaxi.com and upload required documents.

(3) Application Period

October 15^th, 2025 to February 15^th, 2026 (For CSC applicants, first round)  

February 16^th, 2026 to April 15^th, 2026 (For CSC applicants, second round)

 

B. International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

Only the Master's degree program in International Chinese Language Education is supported.

C. Beijing Government Scholarship (Beijing Campus Only)

D. Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship (Zhuhai Campus Only)

1. Scholarship Coverage

Bachelor student: CNY 10,000/person

Master student: CNY 20,000/person

Ph.D. student: CNY 30,000/person
